The R5 baseline targets a deployed height of 200 mm or less, one self-contained unit, and expansion with the same mini. Crowdfunding, supporter payments, and advance reservations have not opened.
01 / FIRST MILESTONE
First, measure whether one unit works.
- Measure the display method, optical safety, and visibility in an ordinary room.
- Measure precision 3D input, latency, tracking range, and false-input rate.
- Verify that compute, power, thermal, voice, and communications systems can fit safely within 200 mm.
02 / OPEN CONDITIONS
Price and funding terms are not set.
The old E3 configuration of four towers plus a separate hub, and its pricing, do not apply to R5. Terms will be published only after the method, components, prototype costs, legal requirements, and timeline are reviewed.
